NOT A HOMEMADE FALL WREATH

I think this is the first time in about eight years that I don't make a Fall wreath for our front door.
Not only I refuse to spend lots of money on something that is going to stay on our front door for just a few weeks,
but I also enjoy making the wreaths to my own liking.

I don't know what happened to me this year! :)
My husband and I went shopping on a Saturday morning and we stopped at Homegoods.

And there it was! This gorgeous wreath! No, I didn't buy it!
But I thought about this wreath the rest of the day.
And all Sunday!!!

Monday morning I found myself in the car traveling the 30 minutes drive to Homegoods to buy the wreath,
hoping the whole time it was not sold out. And as luck have it, there was one left.
Yes, it was supposed to be mine. LOL So here it is, my splurge for this Fall season.

FALL DECOR ON THE HALL TABLE

It is finally starting to feel a little like Fall around Texas.
The temperatures haven't go down much, but it has been raining a a lot in the last couple of days so we are wishful that our weather is finally starting to change. :)

Slowly I have been adding some Fall touches to our home.
My days have been busy lately, dealing with everyday life and spending a lot of time in my craft room working on
several Etsy orders, so I am keeping my Fall decor simple this year, just a few touches here and there.

Last week, while having my morning coffee and browsing the internet, I came across a pretty printable.
It was so cute, I decided to use it on our hall table together with a couple other items I already had.

KITCHEN FALL VIGNETTE

Happy first day of Fall!

It is hard to believe Summer has passed and we are moving into a new season.

Our temperatures are still in the high 90's, but that doesn't stop us from starting to add some Fall touches to our home.
I love this time of the year and the way our home looks decorated with the warm colors of the season.

Today I am sharing a small vignette I created in our kitchen.

FALL MANTLE 2017

Hello friends.
I hope your week is going well.

In the last couple of weeks I have been slowly decorating our home for Fall. It took me a while to get the bins down from storage and I have been selecting here and there what I wanted to use this season.
It is amazing how much Fall decor you can collect through the years! :)

I have been taking my time, since our temperatures are still in the very high 90's and it is hard to get into the
 Fall decorating mood.

My kitchen and family room are almost done, so today I am sharing with you our Fall decorated mantle.
It is very simple since this year I decided not to go overboard. :)
